Clay Sculpture Workshop with Delta Senior School – Session 2

SCYA returned to Delta Senior School for the the 2nd session of Clay Sculpture Workshop last Wednesday and we brought some clay for the students to play with!

KC began the class by introducing the different kinds of clay they were going to use for the workshop and proceeded to demonstrate on how to use the various clay sculpturing tools to shape the desired body. KC showed the students interesting ways to cast different kinds of body shapes and posture using the tools and his hands. The students also contributed fascinating ideas and suggestions for their sculpture.

The students had fun experimenting with clay and the tools as it helped them better understand the medium they are going to use for the real sculpture. We can’t wait to see what the students will do with more clay to make their hero when the class resumes after the June Holidays!

Clay Sculpture workshops with Delta Senior School happens every Wednesday afternoon from now till September 2013.
