Playing With & For The Community

Mural Wall Painting for Mdm Lim

Apart from committing to community-based projects, SCYA also contribute our time to commission-based work such as personal projects for our clients. Yesterday, SCYA went to Ms Beh’s newly renovated house in Serangoon Gardens to paint her bedroom wall to a much inspired photograph of her favourite scenery in Hokkaido.

biei

The wall painting was inspired by a photograph of the landscape in Biei, Hokkaido, Japan. Biei is known for the beautiful flowers, wines and grapes. Ms Beh described her experience there as one of her memorable trips to Japan and wishes to recreate that memory with the wall painting.

SCYA had Jacquelyn and Wan Xiang to draw and paint out the landscape of the photograph.

After a long 6 hours of painting, we managed to complete it!
Mdm Lim came home at the end of the day and was also pleased by the end result of the painting!

SCYA would like to thank Mdm Lee and her family for having us to do this meaningful project for her!
