Shaker Making: Music @ Tampines

SCYA joined in the fun at Music @ Tampines over the weekend for some fun with a simple instrument making activity!

Residents of Tampines came down to watch the Singapore Symphonic Orchestra perform along with other school bands and got a chance to make and decorate their shakers to join in with the songs!

The shakers are made out of recycled aluminium drink cans filled with beans and spray painted with various colours. SCYA had Rachel Chan and Ginny helping us with drawing and facilitating of the activity on both days and we saw many creative designs on the shakers.
