Paper Mache Sculpture Workshop with Hearing Impaired Students

SCYA returns with a collaboration with special needs children this year with another Sculpture program. This year, SCYA is creating a paper mache sculpture with 18 primary school students with hearing impairment from Canossian School and Macpherson Primary, fitted with hearing aids as part of the Diversity in Abilities program by UBS. Themed PASSION this year, 18 children discover what they want to be when they grow up through brainstorming and sculpture modelling.

Helping us, we have adult volunteers from Nikko AM to befriend the students and also help us with slightly difficult steps and suggesting ideas to the children.

The class happens every Friday afternoon at the Canossian School. We can’t wait to see how their sculpture will turn out like!
